    Problem in connecting Oracle9i client with 10g server!!

    Hi,

    I have installed Oracle 9i client on my machine.I need to access Oracle 10g server. I tried to connect to the server.
    But I faces the error message showing PROTOCOL ADAPTER ERROR at the last.

    Can anyone please tell me the steps for connecting to the server.

    Use SET ORACLE_HOME to set proper home. Also provide full patch to SQL Plus binary.
