    Builtin\Administrator login

    Hi All,

I have a question about this user. Does this user need to be a sysadmin? And if yes, what is the reason for that?

    Thanks.

If you have a domain account lets say "abc\sqlserver", "abc\inet" that you could use, then add the domain accounts to the sysadmin role and you could remove the builtin\administrator from the sysadmin role.

When I tried to create a domain account, I got this error message:

Error 15401: Windows NT user or group 'abc\sqlserver' not found. Check the name again.
