    Exclamation mysql server is hanging up

    hai,

    i am varma.We are using mysql server in your office and its hanging up . Its working good when we start it and after some time about 2 hours of time its getting very slow and what i noticed is
    its taking 99% of the cpu

    This server contains about 6 databases and there are 52 tables
    in each.Each database contains more that 1 million rows
    and as its working good for the past 1 year so i even dont think the system is less efficent to manage it

    plz advice

    Find out which process is taking 99% CPU. If it is a mysql process that is taking up cpu find out which session is responsible for it, then you can find out what the session is doing. You can focus your effort on that session.
