Thread: Schedule option on Backup Page not enabled.

    Unhappy Schedule option on Backup Page not enabled.

    We have installed SQL Server 2005 on Windows 2003 and XP but when we want to schedule a SQL Server Management Studio backup, the "Schedule" button is not displayed on the "Back UP Database" Page. The only item in the menu displayed are: "Script" and "Help". "Schedule" and "Refresh" are not displayed.

    Can anyone help us here? Your input will be highly appreciated.

    The following is the information on the version of SQL Server 2005 we are running.

    Which sql login did you use to connect to sql2k5 instance? Does it have db backup permission?

    What OS your database is in? Is it Windows 2003 or Windows XP?
