standalone or Active directory server
Hi all, I have MS 2000 sql server package 4 on windows server 2003, which connect a web application . if I useing standalone model the sql automatically backup is fine. but if I in stall active directory server, that the actomatically backup is not work. is that possible to run sql server under root active directory server??
I have everything in standalone and then install active directory server, is the process wrong??

by the way can I update from Ms server 2000 to 2005, or I need to by other licence??

What do you mean backup is not working? Did you get any error message? Did you backup db to remote location? What's sql services account?

the back up don't show on the localhost which on D\backup, not error message is catch

did you schedule the database backup?
Search for *.bak file on the server.

How did you backup your db? Did you get any error message of backup failure? Have to search backup files in windows explorer.

--ee -ybc are switches used by command line wzzip.exe and wzunzip.exe
rar.exe doesnt have the same kind of switches.
