    Question Updating Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP 2 to SP4?????

    Greeetings!

    I am newbie in SQL, asking help from you people.

    We are using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 2 running on Windows 2000. We are planning to update service pack from to 2 to SP4...Is it okay? What are the requirements? Will there be side effects in our systems?

    Looks like you are little late in the game.

    If I were you, I would simulate the prod environment in a test environment, apply service pack and test the app'.
