User Rights

Hi All,

I have a user that should only have the rights to view the jobs and database properties within Enterprise Manager. I am not sure how to do that. Can you please help? Thanks.

You must first create a specific Role in "Security\Server Roles" then you create a connection in "Security\Connections", linked to the role you've defined.

I think this will solve your problem.

You can't create your own server role.

Does user need to see all jobs or just owned jobs? Only dbo can view db properties.

Put user in msdb..targetserverrole role.
