    Sybase Stored Proc

    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use a Sybase Stored Proc as a dataset in RS? There is only the text option in the Command Type drop down list for the dataset.

    I am using an ODBC driver to connect to the Sybase db, there is no OLE DB provider installed.

    Installed SybaseASE OLE DB Provider Version 02.70.0032 and stored proc is now an option for the dataset.

    Excellent supplementary info there. I'll certainly make a note of it for my Wall Street clients (avid Sybase users there, even now...), some of whom have asked me to help them strategize conversions from Cognos (another "old school favorite") to Reporting Services to save the six-plus figures they pay for annual licensing, etc.
