    why some of my database suddently unavailable

    Hi all,
    One of my databse suddently unailable(suspect)
    , I have automatic back up plane and I can backup it , but can any one tell me why??

    Look in the errorlog, eventlog. You may have lost your drives.

    HI Mak,
    I don't found any useful information in evenLog, is there any artical tell people how to found useful information in error Log??
    By the way I found some information like
    Login succeeded for user 'test'. Connection: Non-Trusted.

    What is the Connection: Non-Trusted.mean?

    Non-trusted means you are using SQL login as opposed to windows authentication.

    Windows system/application log may have more information on hardware failures.

    If it's sql server, most likely the server has disk related problem. Check windows system event log for disk related messages.

    yes! the connection come from interface and use password and useer name that store in database.

    are you taking about the even Viewer ->application, I can't found anything in there.

    Hi all,
    Happen, but found nothing in Even-> system too, Is different even Id show some thing, what even id show hard driver fail? I go to Disk manage is seems all my disk are health?

    Are your dbs still in suspect status? Event number depends on array type used. By the way, do you have server management tool on your network? What kind of server and disk array used?

    Ask your system admins to run Diagnostics tool provided by the server vendor, this can uncover things that Windows can't detect.

    Caused by disk related problem in most case, should work with your system admin to pin point the root cause.
