    Talking login fail ,need more info

    Hi,
    I deleted standard sql login (a123) few days ago.

    Since delete I see multiple login
    fail for a123 in sql server log files

    Is any way to get host name or application that trying to login using
    a123

    I did not now password for a123, so I can't restore it

    Do you have old backup of master database? if yes

    restore that master database as master2 database.Look in to SYSXLOGINS table.

    I restored master db into mastre_2 and got a user with password
