    xp_sendmail

    Developers are trying to use xp_sendmail. The following script was used to send out the email: xp_sendmail @recipients='sbk',@subject='Subject Test',@message='Hello'. When the email is received, it does not have a subject in the subject line. Everything else is OK. We are running SQL 2000 SP3 with hotfix from July 2003 (818). Please advise. Thanks.

    What seems to fix it for most people is to delete the email profile on the mail server that the SQL Server is using and then create a new profile and link that to the SQLMail service.
