    Red face Mounting a database

    I have 2 database on OEM One I have SYSDBA(Mine) rights the other(HIS) I dont. On His the development team need to have access at all times. Do to resent events the server that the databases reside on crashed multiple times in recent days and a upgrade was needed.

    ???? I need to test backup and recovery procedures on DB1 Mine and by mounting the database will it have any affect on DB2 His?????

    We may be able to help better if you tell us what kind of database each are. And what is the nature of the upgrade?
