    Question SQL 2000 backup to a different server

    Does anyone know how to save a SQL 2000 backup on another SQL 2000 server?

    You can run BACKUP to a network share, and that network share can be in another SQL server.

    For this you must run MSSQLSERVER service account with a domain user account with write permission in the share.
