    gif image chart in aspdb classic gold

    i wonder if you have a solution for
    displaying charts in aspdb classic gold for browsers that
    do not have java vm installed in their computer (the microsoft-sun ordeal)
    i saw the gif button feature in dbmagiclayout but it doesn't seem to work.
    do you have a solution for displaying
    charts in non java applet way?

    There is a gif button solution some time ago.. It is not hard but we did not implement that in ASP-db.Net as if Java is not enabled in the borwser, a lot of the advanced functions (tree, menu, validation, calendar etc...) cannot be used and chart is just one of them. The advantage of Java applet is that these are the same applets we used since 1998 and they still work today and they will keep working working. If we use MS controls, the chance of them going out of sync betweebn versions is almost "for sure".
