    Lightbulb Download Access ODBC Driver

    I am developing an application using Access as a back end DB

    I believe it is possible to connect to an Access DB even if Access is not install, but you do need the Access ODBC Driver install. This comes standard with Ofice Pro but can i download it from anywhere ????

    I've looked at Microsofts Download Site buit can't find what i want

    I am not sure if you can do it this way, but in control panel, depending on what version of windows you are using, there is a place where you can install ODBC drivers. I know in Win2K, it's under administrative tools and in Win98, there is actually an icon with ODBC connectors or something rather.

    Search on Microsoft site for MDAC 2.8 (the last version).
