mySQL MD5 Encryption
I'm a newbie, so I apologize if this is a stupid question...
Is there a way to encrypt an entire column with MD5? I have a forum I am putting together (I'm more of a web designer than a db guy...) and the owner wants to be able to add users to the database by importing a text file. The problem is the forum only recognizes MD5 encrypted passwords and the owners have a LOT of users to add. I can encrypt one at a time, but was hoping to avoid that.
Any ideas?
