Angry Complex query problem in Access 2000

    Gents,

I have a quite severe problem with MS Access 2000.
There's an incredibly complex query on a form with function calls, and pointers to certain text field on the form to filter out only user specific records.
When the user makes any modification on the filter criteria I execute the FORM.REQUERY method - obviously.

This works fine on Win2K or WinXP systems but Access seems to stop responding on WinNT systems. If I check the processor utilization MSACCESS.EXE takes 99% of processor capacity. There’s something more interesting; If I save the query and run it independently it work fine even on NT. If I call the query from the form it dies.

    Any idea?

    Thanks in advance.

have you installed the latest service packs, they somtimes fix things like this.

Also could try support.microsoft.com, may be useful.

    Ehhh...

    Forget this topic.
The problem source was - beleive it or not - simply the wrong date format.
I've already met with this problem before, but that time I got an error msg from Access with a funny - non date specifc - error msg.
This time it just simply hung.
It has been carried out anyway, so thanks four your efforts.
