    what to choose:sql server or oracle?

    hi I'd like to know what is better to use between oracle and sql server!!
    The database that I have to create is very big , I need a good capacity to make searchs in texts.I also need a maximal place in each line and column of the table because I have to enter in it not only words but also texts.thanks
