    Question Optimization failing

    I'm getting the following error when I try and do optimization checks on one of my databases. I have no idea how to fix this.

    Could someone please help.

    Server: Msg 8905, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
    Extent (1:41640) in database ID 13 is marked allocated in the GAM, but no SGAM or IAM has allocated it.

    1. Run dbcc on that database and try to repair

    2. What service pack your or. Just reapply service pack. or apply latest service pack

    3. take backup of that database and restore it in a different server and see this is happening
