    Ms Sql

    i got to admit i am new at ms sql. i am accessing monthly reports from our server using ms sql7 and the output is in *.txt format. Is there anyway i can put these data inside a table?? how??

    you got to help me out here cos these data is really large. I had to transfer them to ms excel and it takes me an entire afternoon doing it. thanx guys.

    BCP or DTS or Bulk Insert or Import/Export wizard can be used to import text files.

    refer BOL for BCP and BULK INsert

    refer www.sqldts.com or www.databasejournal.com for DTS import
