    Question Scripting Maintenance Plans ?

    Is there a way to script out maintenance plans (and their corresponding jobs) from a server ?

    Not aware, but you can script jobs.

    Yes, to script jobs give you more control and portable to other servers.

    The best way to learn is to create the job(s) via SQL MMC interface including put T-SQL and scheduling, then generate the sql code from it and then modify them to become your own new job codes.
