Should I use the query cache ?
All the pages of my website are now being created
via the mysql database.
As this means an awful lot of read only requests, would
it be worthwhile my using the query cache ?
I have a dedicated server with 1GB of RAM using a
Pentium P4, so I have plenty of spare resources in
hand.
Has anyone had any problems ?

Hope that helps. Cache mechanisms are of course also cool - depending on the nature of your site. In your case it might be worthwhile looking into that area.
Cheers
