    Urgent!

    Hi!

We have a cluster sql server configured.
This morning we got this error when accessing the msdb

Could not find database ID 4. Database may not be activated yet or may be in transition.
I also checked the d and t drives which are shared by the cluster and the server that is in charge shows d and t but the one thats passive has d and t in windows explorer but it is in accessible. I thought that d and t should not even show up on the server thats not in control. I am planning to shut down the server thats not in charge and just restart the one the other one...
It seems like both servers are fighting for the same resources at the same time. Please advise if my strategy will work ?

Do you see any error in system or application log about disk conflicts.

You could try to fail over the resources from cluster admin.

In cluster administrator see whether all the resources are pointing to the active node.
