    importing .db files into Access

I need to import a .db file into a Access database.
I have Office 2000 and office xp installed on my pc.
When i try to import a .db file into Access using office xp i always get an error.
When i try to import it using office 2000 it just does nothing.

Has anyone got any ideas why this is happening and how i can fix it?

    Thanks alot for any help

if it is MYSQL database. create ODBC connection to the database and then insert into your access table.

I believe it is MYSQL database and also I believe MYSQL has Open data base connectivity

I converted the database file from 2000 to 2002 and it imported no probs.
