    Oracle 9i Installation abort before konfiguration

    Hi, I'm using a Debian 3.0r1 box and want to install a Oracle 9i DB for my studies on university.

    The installer is running fine, but after copying the files the installer is showing the konfiguration window for 1 sec. and the installation aborts.
    I watched many documentations and the net, but havn't found information about this. I've also seached for sutable logfiles, but no success.

    can anybody help?

    can I start this process after the installtion? alle files are still on the hdd....
