Hi All,

i recently had to re-build our SQL Server after a major crash. This meant restoring the server from backup tape and then re-installing SQL server 7.0 applying the service packs and restoring the databases from backup.

Now however, the applications which were working before the crash are showing symptoms of the regional settings not being set correctly.

If you select a date between the 1st and the 12th of the month you get a return but if you enter a date after the 12th you get the error: 'Run-time error '-2147217913 (80040e07)': The conversion of a char data tyoe to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value.

I have set the regional settings on the Server to "United Kingdom" and selected the set as default locale option but it still appears to be using the US date format.

Any help would be very much appreciated is it is driving me crazy.

Many Thanks

Colin
