    Lotus Notes

I need to query information from a Lotus Notes R5.0.1 database. Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it?

    Thanks,

    Ken,

There is an ODBC driver available for Notes which can allow you to attempt to query a Notes database in a similar pattern to a Relational datastore.

It is freeware from IBM and can be obtained at:

    http://www.lotus.com/products/rnext....5?OpenDocument

    Sorry about the long URL.

Be prepared though - it ain't the quickest thing in the world.

If it will be an ongoing process - there are products which can replicate data back and forth between Notes and a Relational database.

    Lotus offers one called NotesPump.

Percussion Software (www.percusion.com) offers one called Notrix which in my experience is a far better tool than NotesPump

    Chris
