JOB is not running
Hello
I've a problem with the following job:
##########################
DECLARE
job BINARY_INTEGER;
BEGIN
dbms_job.isubmit( 1,
'DO_SOMETHING;',
TO_DATE('06.03.03'),
'(sysdate) + 10 /(24*60)', True);
END;
###########################
I'm using Oracle 8.1.7 on WIN NT 4.0.
I've got two identical(I hope so) systems. One for development where this job is running fine.
And the real system, where nothing happens.
This means:
- No statistics (failures or total time)
- No broken flag
- No Lastdate
- No Nextdate
are shown
But if I try to run the job manually with
BEGIN
dbms_job.run(1);
END;
everything works fine.
The user is allways the same.
Any comments ???

Have you configured job_* parameters in initsid.ora
for example
job_queue_processes = 6
job_queue_interval = 10
job_queue_keep_connections = false

Thanks for your response.
But now I've got a different problem:
The startup of the database takes more than 10 minutes. I don't have so much time because we are under production in this case. Usually this takes just a few seconds.
So I was forced to cancel the changes.
Any ideas????
