Starting SQL
We just implemented an SQL Server, and loaded SQL Client on my PC. From my windows explorer, I was able to copy my data text files out to the server, so I do have connectivity, but when I try to log in via the SQL Client, I get a message indicating that either there is no connectivity, or permissions.
My DBA insists that he has modified all the permissions, to use the Windows permissions.
What other settings my need changed, either on the server, or on my PC to give me access via the Client?

using cliconfg utility, enter the server name to access, port number. This would let you access the sql server through query analyzer
