I tried to transfer a database (SCHEDULING the TASK, this one is the *VERY* important element) from SERVER_A to SERVER_B using Enterprise Manager (EM) installed on my PC (CLIENT_C).

SERVER_A -> SERVER_B
sched.task
TC /TC
CLIENT_C (EM)

Note:
* TC=Trusted connection
* Both SERVER_A and SERVER_B resides on the same domain while CLIENT_C is on another (trusted) domain.

The scheduled task (registered on the destination server) failed with the message 'Cannot connect to destination server'.
The message was a strange one, because I executed another task (made months ago) and it worked fine...
Then I created the same task using the EM located on SERVER_B and... it worked fine!
Hmmmmmm... what was wrong? I removed the registered SERVER_A and SERVER_B from the list in CLIENT_C, re-registered them using *'STANDARD CONNECTION'* (the previous one was a 'TRUSTED CONNECTION&#39, re-created the task and... it WORKED !!!!

Can anyone confirm that a scheduled object transfer between two servers created with EM tranfer tool requires that the servers are registered with STANDARD CONNECTION?

Please, send the answer to the mail address also.

Thanks.
