Since the Pro version of ASPDB does not support read only fields for adding new records, how can I prevent a user from changing the default contents of a field?

For example, can I assign a value to the field somehow thereby overwriting any changes the user may have made to the field? If so, how?

    Tony,
I believe you are mistaken. ASP-db DOES allow a default field to be read-only during an Add.
    See Miscellaneous Example 6 at:
    http://www.aspdb.com/UNO

    Mark.
