Aspdb eroor 800a0005

This error occurs when i try to add new records(data Entry) to a table. When i add new records to other tables,it works fine and i checked the permission on the table and i have the insert permission too. Please help me.

Some possiblities:
a) you have PWS 3.0 . You need PWS 4.0.
b) you should install WIndows NT 4.0 Option Pack (yes, even on Win 95/98)
c) you have a field name which contains a Reserved Word. See List of Reserved Words at: http://www.aspdb.com/docs/aspdbman.htm#TOC_IVB

I had a similar situation that was driving me nuts until I read this post...I had forgotten about the reserved words list and could not add or update any records, so I strongly recommend developers get to know that list to avoid any unnecessary headaches. Thanks for the tip, Mark!
