    Maximum Row Length?

    Hi,

I downloaded the newest Eval Version yesterday and I had trouble viewing tables in a MS SQL database with which I had no problem with the earlier version of ASPdb.Pro. No data and no error code, in fact nothing, was displayed.

Then I created a new table with a shorter row length and everything worked fine.

Is there a new or different limit to the row length and what is it?

    Thank you

    Dirk

    Dirk,

What do you mean by "row length" ? You mean the total legnth of a grid row ?

    Frank,

sorry for not making myself clear.

I mean what SQL Server calls "total row size", i.e. the total number of bytes per row in the database.

If this is too large (how large?), it doesn`t matter if the dbSQL-query returns all or just one field or record, there still is nothing displayed. Neither does modification of MaxScanRows help.

The table is displayed correctly with PureAsp, and, as stated before, with earlier versions of Aspdb.pro.

    Thanks

    Dirk
