    ASP-db Component Installation Question

I have a question about registering your component on Win NT Server. In step 9 under “Registering from MTS” which states “Choose either Interactive or This User”, I chose This User. I wanted to know what the minimum rights a user account can have in order to make ASP-db function properly. If possible, I would like a user id with less power than Administrator.

    ASP-db Component Installation Question (reply)

    Hi Neil,

Good question! We always make an account with admin rights and use that. I suppose it just needs an ID that has execution privs in that directory. You
could try reducing the ID down to a Power User, or a Backup Operator and see what happens. Post a reply here with your findings if you don't mind?

    Thanks,
    John
