Fellow MSSQL developers,

I'd like to bring your attention to a Beta release of a new database schema design tool - "SeQueLizer IDE" for MS SQL Server:

http://www.sqlide.com

SeQuelizer IDE gives you the complete and convenient environment for
maintaining the structure of your database in a set of well-structured,
well-commented, readable and reusable SQL scripts. The program includes:

* SQL-oriented text editor,
* macro preprocessor,
* script debugger,
* schema decompiler,
* DDL analyzer with its internal schema model,
* Schema difference engine with delta-script generation,
* A stand-alone database update utility,
* MS Visual SourceSafe integration

SeQueLizer IDE will help you through the whole database development cycle, from creating the SQL scripts, to building a database from these scripts and to performing two-way syncronization whenever either the scripts or the database are changed. Version control both on the database level and on the script level eliminates database versioning headaches.

I'm sure those who could find time to download and try the program (1.3Mb setup, install and uninstall provided) will find it userful and interesting. I'd very much appreciate your opinions on the idea and implementation of this new product.

Sincerely yours,

Alexey Reatov
