Does anyone have any experience in using numerous (in excess of 50) memo fields in an Access 97 database? A friend of mine has asked for help as his database claims it is full but it is only 2 Mega Bytes in size. I think this is due the the large quantity of memo fields in the two tables he has. I've not seen the database so all of this info is obtained from a fraught phone call.

He's already tried compacting and copying the objects to a new database, but the problem remains.

Before I suggest he rebuild his db I wanted to be sure that this was the problem, so any thoughts would be appreciated.

If it makes a difference he's using Win 95.
