SQL 7 to SQL 2000 Upg.

We are currently a SQL 7 shop thinking about upgrading to SQL 2000. I am looking for some advise on the best way to go about doing this. What are some of the things that I should be aware of and is it better to upgrade or build a new server.

    Thanks in advance.

    it works fine.

always better way is to do that on a test box.

The good thing is u can restore a 7.0 db backup in
    sql2000.

Thanks for the info, but are you saying that if I build a SQL 2000 box I can restore my Sql 7 database to it and it will work fine?
