    %type in T-SQL?


    Hi All!,
    Does anyone know if T-SQL has some sort of data type function similar to %type in PL/SQL? (%type in Oracle automatically assigns the data type to the referenced field, as opposed to declaring it explicitly.) Thanks!

    i beleive SQlvariant in 2000 has similar feature.
