    linked servers


    I am wanting to set up linked servers between servers that have NT only security but when I try and run an RPC or Query I get the following error

    Login failed for user ''.

    I am using named pipes, tcpip, and multiprotocol librarys on both servers
    I have been able to get this working when using standard security but not for NT only.

    You have to map nt id to remote sql id.
