    DTS Active Script Task

    Hi

Can anyone tell if a COMMIT can be given inside a Active script task in a DTS package? This task performs a transfers a few thousand records from Oracle to SQL row-by-row and I want to commit after each row is processed and not at the completion of the full task. Is this possible.

You bet it is. From the designer, double click on your transformation, then on the advanced tab, look at data movement. Set your commit level to your liking...
