    Hi, can anyone tell me what conditions that cause @@ERROR to set a non-zero value .. I want to know how and when to use this feature .

    Returns the error number from the last Transact-SQL statement executed.

    Used whereever u wanna track error and do decision making.

    BOL has good examples.
