    SQL2000 Enterprise / SQL 2000

What are the main differences between the Enterprise version and the 'normal' version ?

Is it possible to link odbc-data-sources the the small version too??

    Tino,

there are several differences between the two versions. Mainly, Enterprise supports up to 64 GB RAM and 32 processors on Windows 2000 Datacenter. Standard doesn't support this much. Upto 2 GB RAM and 4 processors (8 Processors on NT 4.0 Enterprise). Enterprise supports indexed views, 4 node clustering, log shipping and several other features.

Search for "Features Supported by the Editions of SQL Server 2000" in BOL for a complete list of differences.
