DB Link with HS / OleDB for MS SQL

Hello Group:

I have a DB link using HS OLEDB for MS-SQL Server. Now, I want to do a distributed transaction between Oracle and SQL Server, but the DB Link returns an error: ORA-02047 Cannot Join the Distributed Transaction in Progress....

Can any one help me ?

Is the transaction initiated in sql server? If yes, then did you issue

SET XACT_ABORT ON
BEGIN DISTIBUTED TRANSACTION

But my distributed transaction is initiate at the Oracle side and use a Oracle´s DataBase link.

You have to use Transparent Gateway for MS SQL Server to be able to initiate a distributed transaction from Oracle.

Generic Heterogeneous Connectivity does not allow it.
