can't query more than 15 fields in a select stmt. (SQL 6.5)

Hi ! I'm an ASP developer & am using SQL server 6.5.
I've got a problem when querying more than 14 fields in my SQL statement
using ADODB.Recordset (but am not using table joins... only one table). I dont know how to fix this configuration in SQL Server, (to allow querying more than 14 rows programmatically).

I would really appreciate any help.
