I try to access an OLAP Server from a remote compute, using ADO MD Library with following string conection :
"Datasource=SERVNAME; Provider=msolap; Initial Catalog=FoodMart 2000;"
I recive the following error code: -2147467259 (0x80004005), "Unspecified error"
Can sombody help me
Does olap runnig? Does windows account used have permission to access it?
the olap services is runing (I can accessed with Analysis MAnager an MDX Sample application), user account is member of OLAP Administrators.
Did you install olap client on that remote machine? Applied same sp as on server?
Yes, I have installed OLAP client on both computers, both have SP4.
