Hi, wonder if someone can help.
I've created a subscription and scheduled it to run but I get the following message:
Failure sending mail: The transport failed to connect to the server.
Anyone any ideas why? or what I can do to fix it?

Was mail server running at the time?
Yes, I have scheduled regular test messages to check that everything is still working properly.
did you enter the right details for your SMTP server when you ran the install? If not then you may have to edit the RSReportServer.config file and adjust the server name in there...
...
<SMTPServer>your server name here</SMTPServer>
...
it needs to be the name that your SMTP server has on your domain, so a domain of mycompany.com would mean the server name value is mySMTPServer.mycompany.com
