HTML --->> MySQL Database

This is probably a stupid question and as far as I presently understand, an impossibility, but I thought I would throw the question out there anyway, in case someone does in fact know of a solution.

I have a program that can take a text file and compile it into HTML pages. I have a 1200 page book that I customized for a web-site of mine. I also have 3rd party search engine software that I purchased and use to crawl my web-site and provide a customized search engine for this 1200 page book. It works nicely, but has some limitations.

What I am wondering is, is there any way to get these 1200 pages inserted into a MySQL database and be able to set up some kind of search associated with it, that would fit (customized) into my web-site? Is this too tall of an order?
