No data in report but through query

Hi ,

we are using sql server 2000,we are using oracle web center UI to get data from database. But the problem is we are getting data only upto last six months not before that. However we can get data by directly executing sql query. Can anyone help to know what may be the problem.Please let me know if any other information is required.
