About Union & Crosstab Queries

Hi, Im an aspiring programmer. I am using Vb6 with access and SQL2k as db. I can do simple queries but I have a difficulty dealing with UNION & CROSSTAB stuff. Is there a site for this stuff? I just want to study further bout it... Any help will be greatly appreciated... Thanks...
