Let us see the queries before spending time guessing how you've structured your cube(s). Normally, I could give a quick answer on this, but it's becoming common to find that "basic assumptions" as to how things are constructed are, to say the least, unwise.

All I need is to see are the two queries you are attempting to "join," (as I stated earlier) so I can understand how to suggest to you what (you are currently misunderstanding that) you want to do within MDX ...
Show me the queries, and state the need from that perspective - what you are trying to accomplish with the two queries.
